800XL Stereo install -- detected, but no right channel

I should probably not be allowed to play with a soldering iron.
I installed the Simple Stereo from Lotharek's site (http://www.lotharek.pl/product.php?pid=45), I figured my VBXE install didn't blow up, so why not.

Then I tried playing yoomp! It detected I had stereo installed, but I heard nothing from the right speaker.
I swapped the speaker cables to make sure. I checked the connections, all tested positive. I checked the connection to A4 and the BELL, those where good.

I made sure in the U1MB setup Stereo was enabled.  All I hear is mono from the left channel.
Does anyone have any ideas?
