I was playing Missile Command and Phoenix and other VCS games the other day. But mostly Missile Command. I was testing out a newly made homebrew composite & RF -to- HDMI converter and I observed the strangest thing.
Our three goldfish were floating in formation in the corner closest to the screen and watching the gaming action. They were pretty quiet and seemed quite amused and content. As soon as I turned it off they went back to their foraging activities. Turned it on and they came back! Just too cool. These fish are like 7 years old already and we had just upgraded the tank, built it into the wall kittykorner from the tv.
They never really watched tv, but seem enraptured by the simple graphics and flickering light. They just kinda hung around like as if they were having a conference or something.
