Hi guys,
As stated above on their facebook page Hyperkin want new ideas for new products for this year.
http://www.facebook.com/#!/HyperkinGames?fref=ts
Now, I've been thinking about starting this thread anyway and now they're asking for ideas then now's the right time.
I know there's a couple of you out there making portable jags housed around the jag's board but what about this for an idea. Hyperkin making a new portable jaguar aka Supaboy style just for Jag carts - see here
http://hyperkin.com/supaboy-portable-pocket-snes-console.html/
They seem to have access to a company in China, I think, that can make new boards for old consoles.
Well, their first consideration undoubtedly would be - would it make a success. I don't know, I'd just like to see it. I already told them on the fb thread that there's a massive Jag community that would be interested! (assuming they didn't know!)
Obviously you're thinking that there's not enough Jag carts out there to make this a viable project for them..but if you don't ask, you don't get and I think anyone wanting a portable jag of the proportions a portable should be, should go on FB and express their interest.
I've got one of these supaboys by the way - they're pretty good, I think their production time is low as perhaps is their profit margin so their consoles aren't of the exceptional quality you'd expect from a giant like Nintendo but they are robust, great quality and do the job.
I expect a lot of you have thoughts on this so over to you..
