Lantronix UDS1100 and Atari 850

All,

Just got a Lantronix UDS1100 and Atari 850 Interface box. I noticed the cable that came with the Lantronix device had a female serial plug. The Atari 850 also has female serial plugs. Do I need to do anything special here like hack the cable or will a simple female to male adaptor work? Sorry if this was already covered. I searched and couldn't find anyone mentioning a cable hack or adaptor...
