[This project is not mine, just something I found that others may be interested in...]
Yesterday I found this Kickstarter project   http://www.kickstart...hem-al?ref=live
When finished, it will play POKEY music, sounds, as well as sounds from other 8-bit consoles that we need not mention here.

The kickstarter campaign is actually done, but if you are interested in purchasing one, go to: http://store.gadgetf...&products_id=59 and there is a pre-order link with more information. Development is not yet done, but I asked Jack, the developer about POKEY and he said that it was one of the two most popular add-ins, so he is working on that. To quote his email

The POKEY is an audio chip that we have a VHDL model for and it is already integrated into the ZPUino as a Wishbone core. So a good chunk of the work is already done. But, I have not done any testing or verification beyond just sending a couple of notes through it. I know that the code was used in several games over at FPGAarcade.com so it will probably be just fine, but I just wanted to give you a clear picture of where it stands.
Development of the entire system is moving along very nicely but there is still plenty of work to be done. The POKEY chip and the SID Filters are the two biggest requests that I am getting and they will be the first things I will work on after I finish a 1.0 release.
Anyway, for those that are interested in that sort of thing....
