) for the Atari 410 cassette player and a copy of Spider Quake that he graciously gave me
Now, the player seems to work. I turned the 800XL on with Start held down as I believe I'm supposed to and hit return and the game seems to load. The spider quake title screen appears but thats it. The tape seems to load and screech for about 3 or 4 minutes then it just seems to hang or freeze and I can't do anything - start, option, select, joystick button, nothing seems to work.
I'm not sure if this particular game won't run on an 800XL, if there's another problem I'm not aware of or I'm not loading it right.
Any info, help or suggestions would be appreciated.
