To kill an ailing VCS or not?

OK, so I have two ailing VCS consoles. One is a 4 switch Woody with a botched video mod. The RF output doesn't work right, either. The other is my own Sears heavy sixer which has a broken reset switch and a faulty RIOT. It loads and plays almost every single game I have except River Raid II. I just dropped the case from a light sixer on the stupid reset switch and nearly finished the thing.

I'm thinking that I should kill the woody for good and save my heavy sixer with the parts. This would involve swapping parts into and out of a Vader, which would still work perfect when I'm done. I'd have to pull all four of the woody's gray switch caps off, swap them with the shiny ones from the Vader, and use one of the shiny caps to repair the reset switch in the heavy sixer. I'd also have to relieve the Woody of its TIA, RIOT, and CPU, leaving it useless.

This particular heavy sixer does have some historical value. It's the Sears unit that was photographed for Wikipedia's Atari 2600 article.

I'm going to finish my work on the light sixer and get it ready for sale, then check back to see ya'll's opinions.
