Hi folks,
Noob alert - sorry! Well, old noob that is. My folks moved out of the family home a month back and whilst helping clear them out I rescued the old 2600 out of their attic. I've tried getting it back up and running but its not quite there.
I've tried connecting it to a couple of TVs - an older (bout 6 years) CRT and a new Samsung LED. I had the same result on both; namely I could just about tune it to the right channel and can see that it is trying; however I don't actually get a proper picture.
Its a UK device so PAL with a coaxial cable that inputs directly into the aerial socket of the TV.
Any suggestions on things to try would be much appreciated. Cheers
