PILOT Demonstration Programs Cassette B Side 1

I have the Atari PILOT Demonstration Programs Cassette B.  Whenever I try to load Side 1, I always get the following error: 

32 *** I/O ERROR 143 ***

The program still mostly works, but the "Pretty Lines" program has a couple problems.  The "Ballet" option runs, but gives an error on line 2690 that ends the program.  The  "Cycloid" option always ends the program after drawing a short, red, vertical line.

I can load side 2 of the same cassette with no problems.

Does anyone else have this cassette?  Does anyone get the same error when loading, or have the same problems running, the program on side 1?

I'd really like to get a clean copy of this program, but I don't know if it's just my tape or if it's a general problem with the cassette.
