Crossbow: Has a prototype ever been found?

During the red-label era, Atari often used real, honest-to-goodness screenshots on their boxes.  The box for Crossbow is among these, but in that game's case, the screenshots did not come from the published cartridge.  This is most obvious in the screenshot for the map:

The left is the box screenshot.  The right is a screenshot taken from the actual game.  The castle graphics for the drawbridge scene are different, but what's more interesting is the box screenshot shows the river bridge, one of several scenes that didn't make it into the final release.  The actual map shows the castle hall in place of the bridge.

The box text doesn't mention the bridge, but does mention the four other "journey" scenes that were ported over.  I'm guessing the bridge got cut early on, but still the programmer(s) considered including it, enough to show it on an early version of the map.  A prototype from this era might show what the bridge scene would have looked like on the 2600, assuming there was any development beyond the map graphic.  Such a prototype might also reveal how Atari initially planned on handling travel between the drawbridge and the castle hall.  Maybe the castle hall was going to be dropped, the same way the final showdown with the Evil Master was cut?

I scoured AtariProtos.com, but there is no entry for Crossbow there.  Has anything ever been found?
