AtariBASIC Book Tutorials (Recommendations?)

While going through my Atari book collection a couple of weeks ago, I noticed just how different books on learning computer languages was back in the 80's.  These older books usually didn't delve too deeply into the language and examples were quite short.  This is because, I suppose, these books were usually aimed at beginners and sometimes those with intermediate skills.  I'm looking for recommendations for a book written in English that takes a reader from the start of the Atari BASIC language to the advance techniques.

I'm familiar with BASIC and some Atari BASIC (though I have not used it in quite awhile).  I have plenty of books that teach Atari BASIC already.  My questions aren't about learning the Atari BASIC language.  I'm searching for books that seem modern (or modern-esque?) and teach how to program in Atari BASIC.

Here is what I'm NOT looking for:

  1. I don't want a list of links to websites that have books on the Atari or Atari BASIC.  I know about many of these already.  I want specific book titles.
  2. I don't want Atari BASIC reference guides only.
  3. I'm not looking for books aimed at kids, though I'm not sure if any would be recommended anyway given that I've never seem one that delved into advanced details of Atari BASIC.
  4. I don't want books aimed at machine language programmers.  However, I expect that the advance section of the book would probably cover some machine language routines to help with Player/Missiles and some of BASIC's other shortcomings.
  5. I'm not interested in better versions of BASIC for the Atari than Atari BASIC (i.e. Turbo BASIC, BASIC XL or BASIC XE).  I know that better BASIC versions do exist for the Atari, but it's not what I'm looking those.
  6. I'm not looking for books that have been archived in pdf format.  That would be a plus, so that I can preview the book, but ultimately I'd like to buy the actual paper copy used online.

So, keeping in mind what I'm not looking for, what are your recommendations for a book on how to program in Atari BASIC taking one from a beginner to an advanced user?

Adam
