just got back from ebay :-(

Wow, I haven't been active in a long time so I searched 'atari 2600' on ebay and was a little dissapointed. I guess it was bound to happen, though. I remember nearly spending a few hundred bucks for a Waterworld or a hundred and change for a Chase/Chuckwagon cart back in the mid/late 90's. On ebay, I wasn't seeing any bids over about $80 just now, only a ton of overinflated 'rare' games (some in PSA-graded plastic) I quit collecting baseball cards when you had to have them 'officially' graded to feel good about your collection.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the 2600. For reals, I mean. I recently (today, actually) boxed up 1000+ CDs from my home office so I can display my 2600 carts on the wall instead. I mean, those CDs weren't gettin' no love anymore..

I've got plans to display my 300-ish 2600 carts on the wall in some vinyl channel/strips I found at Home Depot. If it works, I'll post pics because I can't seem to find anything decent to display the games I spent so much time searching for back in the day.

It is good to see the Homebrews alive and well, though. I knew that was going to be here when I returned.

Anyway, its good to know you guys are still here doing what we love.
