I didn't own an Atari 8-bit computer back in the day, but I'm impressed by the commercial longevity of the stock Atari 800. Let's say you bought an 800 with a disk drive in 1979. This would have a CTIA and 48K.
What was the last year you could you buy a major third-party, cross-platform title and have it run on your stock 48K 800? I'm not thinking about the XEGS releases. Maybe an Ultima or Wizardry title that was also released for the ST, Amiga, Mac, or DOS?
