Jag CD "Stutter"

Hello

I recently purchased a Jag CD - I guess I'm a glutton for punishment!

I don't have many games, just Myst and Blue Lightning (which I've never played).

I've noticed that the video/sound/speech in the intro from Myst seems to stutter and I'm wondering if this is a common issue with the game, or if it indicates that there's an issue with the Jag CD itself.

If so... is replacing the drive laser transport the way to go?
