I have Lotharek's Ultimate 1MB and an Atari 800XL (NTSC). I'm trying to find the right 4 pins to grab for PHI2, R/W, Reset, and Halt.
It looks like I can grab PHI2, R/W, and Reset from the Parallel bus connector in the back.. My question is, I want to verify I have the right soldering points on the PBI connector, Using a conductivity test, I can find which pin is Reset by testing PBI vs. a pin on Antic.
However, for the rest of the pins my problem is:
PHI2 - what chips on an 800XL have this signal?
Reset - Fails a conductivity test between the PBI connector and pin 34 on the CPU, or or 36 on Antic. (but the cpu and antic conduct OK)
R/W - Can test for success between antic and cpu, but not to the PBI connector
Any suggestions? Anyone do this before on an 800XL that lives in the US and wants to make a few bucks?![:)]()
