Future Proof Telecom

Hi,

I'd like to use Telelink I with a P:R connection and a RS232 300 baud modem (hayes compatible).
Is this possible?  Will this work?

Also, I just bought a 1030.
Which setup would be better, anybody?

I have an 800 right now.
haven't tried either yet - because I still have yet to buy a monitor..
