The Tail of Beta Lyrae
Awesome multi-stage side-scrolling shooter! Among my top four anyway - take a guess ;)

Ok we have the same issues as last time so unless you are lucky enough to have an original disk that still works* has the full titles and music, beefy firing sounds and adapts gameplay over time (*doesn't suffer from grey washouts due to copy protection issues) you'll need to download one of the versions below! Discussion on the TTOBL thread

1. If you can, play the Disk/ATR/XEX with the gravity balls enabled - top players go for this one. Default 5 Ships. If you don't see the gravity balls sometime on level 1 or 3 (they pull your ship forward/towards them) then you have another version perhaps.
2. Homesoft's Cassette version on Disk/ATR with no gravity balls - easier so if your not one of the better players go for this one and play using 7 Ships [Option/F4] if you wish!

Download: Unfortunately Fandal's great Atari web site seems to be down at the moment so try atarionline.pl ,  homesoft , Vjetnam or atarimania various versions kicking around (not the cheat one!!). There may be other links details on the Season7 Round 3 thread

NOTE: You lose points for firing so don't go crazy!
Hint: Those pesky ariels can be taken out by shooing their bases (usually!)

Bonus Challenge: press 5 to start on Ace Mission (5 Ships)

Round Closes 10pm UK time Tue 20th (a little extra time as I want to make the next two rounds go past the end of the month giving more time to complete my new game - consider subscribing to the abbuc mag folks (or email atariage user SKR for help) and you'll get a bunch of new Atari games in September before they are released and get to take part in the annual vote too :)

With a bit of luck perhaps TTOBL's author will post a score ;)
Game on!
