I seem to remember someone was converting Elite to the A8 (maybe even more than one person) but I don't know where to get the latest version of this project(s). Anybody care to give me a link? ![:)]()
Elite is quite an interesting game as far as conversions go, the C128 (in C64 mode) hack using the 2mhz CPU while the border top and bottom are displayed compared to the Plus/4 version run at pretty much identical speeds (and twice as fast as a C64 original release when the objects on screen become large and complex) even though they have completely different ways of displaying hires graphics.
