Sears Arcade 2 / 2800 controllers and power supply

First let me say Best Electronics is good. I ordered on Friday afternoon and Monday was a holiday but somehow my order got to NC from CA by Tuesday.

For some reason the power supply they sent me it 10 volts instead of 9.5 though. It works however. Being I had the wrong controllers when I got the unit it's possible (unlikely) I had the wrong power supply. Maybe someone here can shed light on it. The new one says Atari on it as does the old 9.5 volt one and it works the console just fine.

Regarding the controller. They sent me on that say Sears Arcade on it. I was afraid I'd get one labeled for the 2800 but they seem to be on top of things at BE. Too bad the controller is awful. I mean really bad. The stick lags and makes Missle Command unplayable. The paddle is a little better but seems to sensitive. Playing Super Breakout the paddle kept jumping from one side to the other very quickly. I may get used to that. What's the second button for?

Has anyone used the normal dual paddles on the SA2 or 2800? I'm not sure how they would work as I've never had a working pair to test. The console has 4 ports for paddle games like Warlord but that doesn't mean standard paddle wouldn't work.
