Hi there,
convering the ABBUC computer repair service I got two faulty Atari 7800 NTSC consoles. Unfortunately these consoles (NTSC) are very rare here in germany, so I didn´t can get one at the local ABBUC member and forum.
Both consoles can be switching on and there´s activity on CPU, equal which cart I plugged in. Yes, I have real NTSC carts for test :-)
I desolder all components and change them to new and tested ones - except the NTSC Maria and NTSC TIA, because I didn´t have them.
So my question: Anybody out here who agreed to loan me one working Maria and Tia IC? Of course I will pay for shipping costs.
Ordering new ICs from BEST Electronics with shipping (only as registered USPS premium express parcel) and customs fee are about 100 USD - too much for try. Sending two ICs in a registered, air cushioned envelope will cost only a few bucks.
The ICs will be sent back in a few days after test.
Please sent me a PM if you can help.
Regards, Juergen
