Jag cd plays music cd's but not games?

Hello,
Hopefully somebody can help me. My jag cd player was working fine until out of nowhere during primal rage it got stuck on the loading screen. I turned the system of and tried again, nothing. Put hoverstrike in and still nothing. Put a music cd and it works fine. What is going on? I get the qestion mark on games and music cd's work fine.
