Armed with the solution I printed up, I made the attempt last night. I made it about halfway through. But in order to get clue number 05, you have to get past a room with the Firebirds coming down on you. If you have the Cloak of Invisibility, it's a snap. But it just so happens you can't use it for this clue because to obtain it, you must first place the Cloak in another room. And that means you need to get past the firebirds room without it.
The collision detection sucks. The birds appear out of nowhere and in swarms. Plus the action sequences get harder as you obtain more and more clues. So by this point in the game they are moving incredibly fast. Barring complete blind luck, there's virtually no skill set that will allow you to last long enough to get inside the room to place the objects.
Does anyone know if you are required to get the 10 clues in order - like 00 first, followed by 01, 02, 03... If not, then one could do the 05 clue first, to get it out of the way when it's slower and easier.
