You are always reading about 1200XLs that have to have their mylar carbon traces repaired (conductive pen) to get 100% reliable function, but what about the late production 800's that also had similar keyboards made also by Mitsumi? You just don't hear the stories about Mitsumi 800's having similar keyboard issues. Anyone have any issues with theirs? Does anyone have an old 800 with a Mitsumi keyboard that is still 100% reliable?
How do you know if you have a Mitsumi keyboard you say? If you have one, you know. They have darker and highly glossy keys that have an extremely soft and quiet feedback (just like the 1200XL). Any anecdotal input is greatly appreciated.
