Tape loading beeping Conundrum

Hi

Im halfway through a cassette/audio splicing project - basically i have been very successful in loading an atari cassette file with a audio right track with a crystal clear loading theme.

At the moment i have -

Left channel - Yoomp! (has a nice loading presentation)
Right channel - Ocean Loader 4 (sorry had to use a tune non pokey for effect - could have used jarre instead!)

On the stereo wav file  through media player the mix is right - very little loading noise and good music quality/volume.

Problem is that the Atari makes its own Beep from the A8 itself - and its LOUD! (commercial games often have this removed once a splash screen appears like leaderboard, spy vs spy 2 etc).

Of course i can stick to games with this already in place but ultimately any cassette is ideal if it can be done this way.

MP3 FIle attached: Attached File  Yoomp vs ocean loader 4.mp3   8.72MB   10 downloads

Is there anyway to deactivate this through key pressing? or is a bootloader program which cuts this out the only way?

If a pre program is required - does anyone know of one which basically cuts the atari generated beep and then loads the machine code executable in (preferably in XEX format so i can convert to CAS to WAV etc).

The end result will be some cassettes made which have crystal clear loading tunes and no pokey issues with loading and playing etc (afterall the Atari was made to do this and its baffling why this was never taken advantage of).

Anyone know of a solution/program for this?

Richard
