Back in the fall of 1984 I saw an ad on TV - USA Network or something. And they were advertising the sale of five Atari games. That was in an era when I was purchasing games (very cheaply) at Kaybee Toys. If memory serves, you could get the five games for $30.00. Plus if you "act now" you'd get a secret "special gift." as well. I assumed it would be a sixth game.
I remember that three of the games were Journey Escape, Infiltrate and Towering Inferno. Strange that they were all from different companies. I can't recall what the other two were offhand. But I did order them. And they came in a plain white box. I don't think they had the actual original boxes.
So does anyone else remember this? Did anyone else order them, and recall what the other two games were?
Incidentally the special gift was a cheap, plastic, yellow cheese grater. (Seriously)
