5200 connection to TV issues

I'm trying to connect my 2 port 5200 to my Samsung flatscreen and i'm getting static bursts in the picture.  I'm able to see the game screen ok but there a constant intermittent static that displays on the screen.  I've tried to connect it by an Atari deluxe TV/Game switchbox with the same results.  Also tried the RCA to coax connector without success.  I tried to auto-discover the TV air channel again but still get the static.

I connect the 5200 to another smaller Samsung flatscreen and it worked fine.  I just want to use the system on my bigger TV.

Anyone have any ideas?  Thanks.
