"Madness" game from CBS: Is it real?

When I was in junior high, around '83 I think, there was a CBS Electronics promotion where you mailed in proof-of-purchase of all of the CBS games that were out at that time (Gorf and Wizard of Wor, I believe, plus maybe 1 more), and they'd send you (or allow you to buy) a mystery game. I recall a TV commercial for CBS Electronics with John Madden (who was their spokesman) mentioning this, and that the game was "Mad, like me!" or something like that.

A friend in school told me he got this game, and that it was a game about the band "Madness". He wasn't a fan of Madness, and he seemed to think it was uninteresting/lame, so in retrospect, this seemed somewhat credible.

The problem, though, is I have never heard or seen any other mention of a "Madness" game for the 2600, so I have to assume he was making this up.

Two questions:

1. Has anyone else ever heard of this game ("Madness")?
2. Assuming my friend was wrong/lying/crazy, and this promotion did not enable you to acquire a "Madness" game, does anyone know the actual game that you could acquire through this promotion?
